EVENT OVERVIEW
Since 2010, Asia eDiscovery Exchanges provide an education and a networking platform for legal professionals, investigators, digital forensics experts and regulators. Over the past two years and with the track records of 5 eDiscovery events in Asia, we are very excited to launch the 6th Asia eDiscovery Exchange in Hong Kong.
eDiscovery is still a very new initiatives in Asia, nevertheless, regulators in Asia have taken steps to implement practice directions for electronic evidence. This remains a challenging tasks for legal, compliance, technical, investigators and digital forensics experts.
eDiscovery tools can help in-house legal/ compliance reduce legal cost, implement effective data governance procedure and legal hold management. eDiscovery tools also help law firms to expedite the document review and prepare for litigation.
Information governance is really the practice of putting in place measures to mitigate the risk. The information governance practice will help bridge gap between IT, Legal, Compliance, RM, and other stakeholder groups within organizations.
Digital forensics play a major roles in uncovering fraud and crimes hidden in the your technologies equipment’s and devises such as laptop, mobile, clouds system and company server.
The 2012 Asia eDiscovery Exchange bring together eDiscovery pioneers, legal and compliance professionals, digital forensics experts and regulators to provide you a comprehensive view in eDiscovery, information governance and best practice within the investigation approach.

This week, I attended and spoke at InnoXcell’s Asia eDiscovery Exchange. Jeffrey Teh at InnoXcell gathered a great group of speakers and an audience of active eDiscovery and investigatory professionals. Conferences are great when the audience asks hard questions and the attendees here certainly weren’t afraid to speak up. It is great to see the interest level in eDiscovery and Information Governance (IG) rising in Asia.
